Episode 4 - Remember your P's & V's

With constant defeats, the Favorites tribe were at an all time low and making poor decisions seemed to be their forté but the duo of Banks and Jela seemed to be in power and nothing would get in their way. The Mixed tribe were having their own issues with Adam and Eric on the bottom after Gibson's elimination and the newly created alliance of Kay, Martyna, Tanya and Dustyn were in control but when Eric received the White Pearl and Martyna given the Black Pearl it offered an opportunity to sway Lilly who had been sitting in the middle. Dontok were on cruise control but tension between the tribe was starting to bubble over.

At the immunity challenge, Dontok once again secured victory sending the Favorites and Mixed tribes to Tribal Council. The Favorites were on edge about the vote and opted to force a tie between Daniel and Gray but the stipulation of the Pearls annoyed the duo of Banks and Jela to the point where when the vote tied and Ginny threatened going to rocks BOTH of them quit sparing the Russia and Venezuela players whilst at the Mixed tribe, Lilly felt insulted that her perception was that she never worked with the girls and promised herself to vote with Kay, Tanya and Martyna ensuring an Adam elimination but when the votes fell, Lilly reneged on her plan as Dustyn was blindsided.

Now just eighteen remain

Before I start reading through Ep 4 journals I decided I should do a cast ranking:

Basically I love the OG Palpungs, and the Fans as a whole, either I love them, or I hate them, which is great, it means they're making an impression.

I hope this gender swap will formulate some new relationships but as it looks, I wonder about the possibility of Ginny being in the middle of two potential female tribe alliances (Kay-Tanya-Lilly-Martyna v. Tierra-Kim-Desiree-Katie) It's doubtful but it would be rather interesting. On the boys side of the spectrum, I could see Adam/Eric teaming up with Daniel and Chris potentially, with the Fan boys being their own thing and Gray having to make the deciding factor. Will past relationships haunt Chris/Daniel? or will Gray side with who he knows and bound the favorites to a majority? I can't wait to see what happens!

In other news, shame what happened at Ganden tribal, but it's probably for the best, everyone who's left will be a lot more entertaining and devoted and we look forward to seeing how they do.

Usually I create some big outlined thing of all the players/tribes but not this time mostly because I am ill.
Instead I am just going to state my opinion on a few important things/players at the moment and post a full cast ranking.

Starting with Fans, great job Dontok tribe they are absolutely killing it and have truly increased the odds of a fan winning this game. Going to the Ganden tribal, I thought for SURE Daniel was a goner, but somehow by the grace of god he stayed and I couldn't be happier. Upset that not just 1 but 2 people felt the need to quit...hate quitters. Dustyn being voted out doesn't matter too much to me, although not sure why Eric/Lilly/Adam didn't take out the clearly bigger threat (Tanya) when they know a swap is happening soon.

FULL CAST RANKING + Little explanation:
(TOP TIER OF LOVE)
1) Stewart - This guy is killing it socially, staying true to himself and currently has an immunity idol, well done!
2) Daniel - Daniel needs to be more paranoid and way less trusting. He is so close to being voted out...needs to never trust anyone.
3) Tanya - Chaos Tanya has been a force this season executing major votes but honestly she is playing TOO hard. Needs to chill down the big moves ASAP and save them for later.
4) Lilly - Huge surprise to me this season, has been an awesome player and people are going to underestimate her until it's too late.

(GOOD PLAYERS/FUN TO WATCH)
5) Eric - Eric fits the underdog role more than probably anyone in this cast and I have faith he can survive until at least jury.
6) Kim - Kim slays the fuck out of people with her confessionals, the issue is that people see her as a HUGE threat she needs to watch out.
7) Kay - Kay destroyed Gibson's game and has an idol with it. Somehow, she has went from the absolute bottom to the top.

8) Zac - Started out super-likeable for me but honestly he is rubbing me the wrong way with how he views himself as superior to others in this game in terms of health and is coming off almost as fake.
9) Chris - Chris is all entertainment at this point, but I want to see game-mode Chris come out and show everyone that he isn't a pushover!
10) Justin - I gave him a hard time in my first impressions but I am honestly excited to see what he does once he starts having to go to tribal...I have a feeling he will be a big factor one way or another.
11) Gray - Gray just lost his only 2 allies and is pretty much alone at this point. I like his personality but his gameplay hasn't been good.
12) Miller - If Miller continues to be a nice guy, he won't move up in these rankings. I WANT A VILLAIN DAMNIT, BE A BAD MAN MILLER!!
13) Tierra - She hasn't had a chance to show much yet and is laying low. I can see her going far, reminds me of Whitney from S26...could have a big move or two in this game.

14) Martyna - This girl is facing adversity head on and she is doing her best. I just can't see her going far unless she's a goat.
15) Ginny - The Ginny/Daniel combo was awesome but now that's gone so I wonder how or if she will adapt from this.
16) Katie - I honestly don't think I remember a single thing from the confessionals I've watched of yours.
17) Desiree - For someone who plays a lot of ORGs, your social game is horrendous. Way too loud, and I doubt you make jury.

Post-swap reactions I'm very happy with the way how the tribes ended up. Battle of the Sexes was a complete wrench in the works and was originally tied into the upcoming challenge as it would've been the final immunity before the twist came into play.

Both tribes have been communicating fairly well with one another but there is an element of hesitation from everyone. On the guys tribe Daniel made the connection of the idol clues being the same for all the tribes and went to go find the Dontok idol, it's already gone and as of this post Justin is closing in on four chakras - he's said he'll be so pissed if it's already found. Adam's clue should get him searching as well and with his White Pearl could prove to be a powerful swing vote. The men seemed more aware of what the challenge might be and drafted examples of what certain words could be which was started by Gray (though he seemed less than impressed about his tribes ability to pick up on common show terminology)

The women are completely an unknown element right now, despite them being the more entertaining of the two because Tanya (iirc) has told people she has the Black Pearl (but I might be lying about that!) when the treemail came through with the study material Desireé jumped all over it and started to create her own code which made absolutely no sense whatsoever. Whilst it's all "girl power" and preaching that a woman winning after 6 seasons is doable everyone must know it's just small talk bullshit - Ginny sits right in the middle of the tribe as the only Ganden female so if their first vote is based on tribal lines she could be very powerful indeed.

Each season of iS for the most part seems to have a huge controversy, THIS SEASON IS NO DIFFERENT! From the FALSE cheating allegations to two people quitting for not getting their way (bitterness a common theme with both) although I do feel that Jela genuinely felt that she could not Continent in the game cause of her feelings towards her tribe, you can really tell she has a big heart and I totally get it! Banks on the other hand he is without a doubt one of the most arrogant cockiest people i've seen to ever play this game! So am I shocked he quit the game since he couldn't get his way (he didn't agree with the rules to a re-vote as regards to the black/white pearls) HELLLLLLLLL NO i'm not shocked! He is a flop! HE will always be one! There were millions of times I felt like I didn't get my way or didn't agree with things on my season, did I quit??? NO! I might have talked about it... But i never would have done it! Especially since i'm friends with sandy and know how hard he works on this game along with the rest of his helpers... He is gross and won't be missed!

BUT I MUST SAYYYYYY everything happens for a reason, and this set us up perfectly for the new tribe swap 9 men vs 9 women!!! side note: Am I the only one who noticed how episode 3's content led us up PERFECTLY to the ultimate battle of the sex's! with Martyna saying she does not want to work with an all female alliance (now she's forced) to Lilly creating an all girls alliance, it was all set up PERFECTLY! I predict the guys will slaughter the girls! Even though I pray the girls can pull it through! It was so cool seeing the original Dontok players finding out about the pearls and the idols, I totally forgot that they had no clue about them since they have never gone to tribal! I'M LOVINGGG their theory's on it all it's so cute!!!!

Right now i'm impressed most with Tanya on the girl's tribe she seems to have a big grasp on the game, and even when she's in the minority she finds ways to push throughhhhh! As far as the guys JUSTIN IS KILLING IT! He has the perfect strategy and I'm loving this duo of him and Chris I HOPE THEY MAKE IT FAR TOGETHER <3 The more this game progresses the more Zac is proving himself as the douche! His passive aggressive attitude is disgusting and I hope he goes soon!
I used to LOVE Adam but he is a rat/sheep and h wont make it far... He is from OHIO after all :/ I feel bad for his ass AND IF HE LOOKS AT HIS NAILS ONE MORE TIME IN ONE OF HIS VIDS I SWEARRRRRRRR I hope he continues to lick the ass and crust of Eric's ass! I hope it get's him far.... NOT

I just have to comment on Stewart's supposed godlike image that everyone seems to have for him. To me, he's not even the most attractive male this season, so Desiree basically orgasming everytime she says his name, and everyone wanting to work with him baffles me. He's ok, but he's not my favorite by any means and I don't even think he's playing the best.... is it just because he's Mark's friend? IDGI.

Tanya has the right idea I think... I'm not sure she really trusts or wants to work with Kim, but she's trying to find the cracks, so to speak and is being as open as she needs to be to gain information.

I'm not surprised that she did the challenge basically by herself. I just hope that it doesn't hurt her strategically since she did make a point that Kay could be in trouble for not really being around during their portion of the challenge..

All that being said, her last point in her video was great. If she finds out Kay's in trouble, due to her socializing. It'll definitely work out for them because Kay would just idol herself and evven with a potentially minority in numbers and votes due to the black pearl, they'd be able to get a Dontok girl out, since they'd probably faster go for one of them over Ginny. That almost puts Desiree in a bad spot because chances are it would be her or Katie who get the votes on their side? We'll have to see what happens if they lose.

Chris has very good opinions on his tribemates and his strategy. I agree with probably everything he said in his most recent confessional. If he can get Gray on his side with Daniel/Eric/Adam... they are in the best spot. And I hope they go after Zac when they go to tribal. I can't wait for them to go after Zac. I don't think Stewart would use the idol on him, but it would actually be great if he did... and the 4 went after Daniel, who used his idol, and it was a nulled tribal, ala Second Chances. That would actually be epic. Can that happen please??


In terms of the girls... if Tanya gets blindsided after basically doing this challenge for them. . but it'll probably be Katie I'd imagine. I don't think the girls of Dontok want to actually stay strong and I see them sacrificing her.

Zac has seemed to annoy most of his tribe with this spirit animal stuff, yeah it's something to do maybe once but if you keep going on about it then that's your whole schtick and it wears thin. Fortunately he's saved at the moment because the OldDontok guys need him for numbers.

Palpung at the moment of this post still has nobody submitting a vote or TC video which makes me think there's going to be a blindside, maybe even an idol play? Speaking of which, Kim and Lilly have found Chakras so they're on the hunt for the Idol (which Kay has. Oop.) and as they're starting to hunt in the twilight hours before results makes me assume something is going down and they need it for a plan to work... that or leverage for more votes.

Tanya I dont think is in danger of leaving, word is getting out she did most/all the challenge for her group so the other four might be at risk.

Ugh so hard to keep up on confessionals! It doesn't help that I literally watched nothing from Dontok all game since they weren't losing so there's all that to catch up on too.

It's kind of shitty for them to go into both swap tribes down 5-4 but obviously there is shit between the possible majorities of 5 on each side... maybe not as much as on the women's tribe but Tanya has the black pearl there... and Lilly cast a vote for GInny already??? O M G. I really am so scared of what might happen here but if Ginny actually is leaving, she had a great ride. I just don't want it to happen yet. I guess I'd prefer one of the Dontok girls to leave just bc I don't know them yet.

On the guys side, Daniel vs Gray is pretty interesting... and it seems like some strong bonds are forming between original Dontok ppl and the others... Eric has the White Pearl so it seems pretty damn likely an original Dontok will leave there if they ever go to TC, as long as the Ganden guys can stop targeting each other for a few minutes.

I need to go catch up on all the confessionals, and get to know the Dontok ppl but it seems like there are nice things being said about Justin & Stewart, and negative things about Zac from what I've watched so far.

Pending further watching... wouldn't mind seeing Gray get taken out when they lose. It probably won't happen but I just don't connect with him as a player for whatever reason.

I'm extremely disappointed in Ginny! THE GIRL WAS IN THE PERFECT POSITION AS A SWING VOTE!!! She totally blew it with playing both sides and feeding them both shit! Ginny played the game so much more cooler on her previous tribe, I wish she could have done that with the girls But maybe her going will unite the girlrs?? I really hope it does cause I can't wait to see the guys in tribal!!!!!
